"I used to ride with Roger a lot when I worked at the downtown Subway. He would give me rides so much he would stop in during lunch and ask what time I was off and I would hook him up with a free sandwich. Then it got weird. I started staying at my gfs house which was a block from downtown so I no longer needed to take a cab every day. Roger would call me and ask " Where have you been?" and " I really would like to give you a ride today, call me back" He was like a stalker gf who caught me with another woman. He would also do things like insist he give me a ride home because he had a 'gift' for me. He bought me groceries I didn't ask for on more than one occassion, mostly frozen food. (which is beyond me why a guy who lives in his car would by frozen shrimp and 5 gal ice cream tubs.) The weirdest time was when he offered to give me a ride for free because he was going that way. He said we need to go somewhere quiet to talk as he had something important he wanted to ask me. I was about 95% sure he was going to tell me he liked young-looking boys but instead he pulled into the BP on Benton and very seriously told me about an idea he had for a bicycle that could tread on land and in water and he needed my help building a prototype he could take to the patent office. He made me swear to secrecy that I would not tell anyone about it because he was afraid someone was trying to steal his idea. (this was about two years ago so im breaking that promise) All the claims that he has Asperger's make the pieces come together."
