Read through the thread and its 217 comments, and nothing has emerged to conclusively show that the child tagged #carisjames is still alive and in good health. The parents, assuming that they are Scott and CC (never confirmed anywhere) appear to be in the Northwest, but there has been no evidence about the status of the little girl after that 1/31/15 time-stamped instagram picture.

I had a friend in high school whose eyes looked like that permanently. I never thought she looked unhealthy or whatever. She did look tired. But kids do get tired sometimes. Are we sure she looks unhealthy? IDK...
