You know we've been at war the ENTIRE length of Obama's presidency? I believe it was China who called attention to how much money this country wasted killing people instead of fixing our infrastructure...HILLARY sold uranium to Russia, Obama sold Uranium to Iran...and you just HAD to go all snowflake on Trump and war? The second time I voted for "Where's 'Leppo" rather than not vote at all...cause there was no fucking way in hell I was voting for SongBird. I have zero doubt that all forces will be combined to make Trump fail...and some of the efforts may even work. However, just based on the campaign alone and how he out maneuvered them at every single turn...that he didn't have to do this at all, that he's been saying the same things for a very long time, that he CHANGES his mind when he gets more information versus digging in, that he is fucking actually smart...we actually have a smart person in the White House....wtf just happened in America?
And you manage to distill it down to OMG he will get us into war with Moslimes...dude, we've been at war with Moslimes since 9/11. There's nothing "real" about your post. Once that hand comes off the bible, I hazard a guess there's a LOT of people in for some surprises. Never...show your hand. If Trump can manage to stay alive this country might just have a chance.
So if we've been at war with Muslims since 9/11, where exactly does MAGA fit into that? It doesn't, I say. That's why I'm a bit worried that Trump stick to his real priorities and campaign promises. Stop funding the terrorists would be a good place to start if you dislike them so much. Certainly not go destroying more stable countries. Interesting that Iran is the enemy of ISIS... just saying.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't being that short-sighted when he said "again". Post WWII America was a pretty exciting place to live. Vietnam started the downward spiral.
The US has created and funded ISIS along with Israel and Saudi in order to control oil. The war in Syria is all about getting rid of Assad who was MODERATE and secular and who refused to play ball with that pipeline. Did Assad "bomb" his "own people" fuck...Trump would bomb his "own people" if they were trying to destroy a stable country. The only Syrians who hated Assad were the fundamental Islamists. The FSA and ISIS=same damn thing. Israel hoped to use the conflict to steal more land. Sneaking up on the back side. Russia completely ruined that plan. We have wiped out entire countries, while not perfect, they were Islamic..which is stuck in the middle ages..fine....look at photos of Syria, Libya, Iraq...before we started "helping" ISIS.
I do not doubt whatsoever that there will be some effort / event designed to force or attempt to force Trump into maintaining the status quo in the Middle East...our only hope is that Putin appears to be wise to the game and is actually fighting ISIS...an improved relationship with Russia can only be a good thing. I'll tell you this for free...had Hillary been elected we WOULD be at war with Russia...not secretly as now..in Syria...but out and out conflict. Let's hope Trump et al are able to keep their heads once the drama starts...can you imagine.....some dirty bomb in Chicago...done by our own folks or some Mateen type....and imagine the MEDIA screaming...RUSSIA...or some such...the pressure will be horrific to act...and I just don't see Trump falling for it. ESPECIALLY with experienced Putin at hand.
