I don't think they hate kids so much as they love themselves and only themselves. Generally people are completely self-involved. Just a tiny example, and I know mothers are exhausted and need a break, but I watched a mother bottle feed a baby in a parking lot and the baby kept trying to interact with the mother and looked at her face lovingly and tried to touch her face and hands and of course the mother was on her damn cell phone texting. Never once looked at the child. We are in selfish little cocoons only we won't come out butterflies, we will come out pale fat stupid and loveless.
