As a reminder to new folks wanting to pursue leads, please archive links as you are viewing them.

How? Open a separate tab in your browser. Navigate to archive.is (there are several different sites besides this one).

Copy the address bar link from the website page you have found in your research and paste it into the search box on the archive site. Click a few search/ok buttons until conversion begins.

As the webpage is being converted, copy the address of the link and paste this link (archive.is/5char) into your voat post or record keeping place .

If you find that the page has already been archived, read the directions to get the web address.

This does two things. It preserves the website and it also prevents web traffic going to the original link to alarm anyone.

Archive trails you travel even if you are not record keeping. You may have preserved important evidence in archiving it.

And if you see a link that might not be archived from a post, please archive it.
