Not sure I agree on the "military needs an enemy" angle. Trump wants to get along with Russia but he's been quite outspoken on Islamic terror, China, North Korea, and other nations we are at odds with. He's also behind the military and wants to increase defense spending.
There are plenty of enemies to justify military spending. And look at all the generals he's got on staff now.
Trump doesn't know everything that's going on within DC and beyond but he will soon be finding out and when he does he is a man who isn't afraid to change his opinion and his plans.
Did you hear him in his presser to the media? He tells his staff and security detail to "BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT THEY DO IN HOTEL ROOMS AROUND THE WORLD. THEY HAVE THE TINIEST OF CAMERAS YOU CAN IMAGINE, TUCKED AWAY IN THE ROOMS! YOU WILL SEE YOURSELF AGAIN ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE WATCHING, IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO IN THESE HOTEL ROOMS."
Now, the GQ public may not know what he's talking about but the media he addressed surely does know about all of this. Remember Obama's secret service were caught with prostitutes in Columbia, in the President's hotel, compromising his security which they were paid to protect.
When I heard Trump tell the media that he instructs his staff to be very careful, I heard it as a warning shot into the air! I've been waiting years to hear ANYONE talk about these rings to compromise our elected officials...and appointed. See Comey. See Clapper. All rotten. This must come out to the public, and Trump being outspoken can talk and lead these investigations. We must have them. The perpetrators must be jailed!!
I would be gobsmacked if they assassinated Trump, the main reason being it would start a gigantic shit-storm in the US, a land of gun-toting citizens. Also, if you think this is about one man and NOT about controlling the people, you are sorely mistaken. It is entirely about controlling the people so that the narrative can always be controlled and thus, their pathways to power always being cleared.
