Since my comment have gotten buried, the elusive "GEW" may be "Global Entrepreneurship Week" which was in DC in Nov 2016. (pizzagate)

I believe GEW might refer to Global Entrepreneurship Week which was held in DC on Nov 14-20 2016.

It is very common to refer to it as GEW apparently.

GEW is a massive networking event, there would be some pretty wealthy and influential people there.

Just a possibility... We all know how the elite love to cater for their visiting buddies.

Maybe someone can try and find out who attended?

I think that might be it! Vegas has COMDEX, MAGJIC and CES conventions. huge shows where an inordinate amount of people from around world attend. There was so much action there that strippers and prostitutes would fly in from CA to keep up with demand. GEW sounds very logical for trafficking.
