"A Bill for an Act Concerning Removing Culpability for Prostitution for a Victim of Human Trafficking"
de'Estree Testified that:
He has worked for 17 years researching and providing government and non- government agencies data to produce policy surrounding human trafficking.
He had close U.N ties through The United Nations Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking.
"The age of the victim should not matter- if he or she is a minor then the law should automatically treat them as victims of human trafficking."
"The same fear was raised when the T-visa was created for victims of human trafficking."
"Only 13% of T-visas have been granted."
...Knowing de'Estrees ties to DynCorp and the U.N, doesn't it seem like something is very wrong? 🤔
Now Monica Petersen's testimony.
She spent the past year and a half studying "gender development" and human trafficking under the guidence of de'Estree.
"...challenging goals of effective social justice is reintegration of individuals who have experienced social disadvantage."
(keep in mind what she wrote on facebook regarding the reason why she was in Haiti and imperialism).
"The Bill on the table has the potential to do just that type of support, in removing the criminal records of human trafficking survivors previously charged with prostitution."
She then goes on to say the Bill should be retroactive.
...official testimony from and individual or organization with human trafficking expertise can indicate the defendant as being a victim at the time of the offense.
Then she acknowledges that everyone with a prostitution record could use this new law as a defense but it would be up to professionals like her and de'Estree to determine if they were victims of human trafficking. -Thus making prostitution 100% legal even by minors.
And as if that wasn't enough, she recommends that The Human Trafficking Council should take jurisdiction away from judges concerning prostitution convictions.

You're conflating prostitutes with human traffickers. Monica defended prostitutes but that doesn't mean she defended human traffickers. It's important you see the difference.

In the mind of the "progressive" agenda that may very well be the case but not in my Christian beliefs. You're argument is the same as the Democrats in California who took the first steps in legalizing underage prostitution. By legalizing prostitution you are de facto helping pimps recruit more people. You have to read Bill 15-030 closely to see the loopholes that will decriminalize underage human trafficking.
Is a little bit like you having a child who gets caught stealing or getting into trouble at school. A good parent will make sure there are appropriate consequences for the child's bad choices. That's that mean beat the hell out of the child and embarrass him in front of his friends? - hell no! It means you use a balanced approach between rules and guidance. Same with victims of human trafficking. Otherwise the ones who win in the end will be the perpetrators like d'Estree.

Not at all. I just don't think you can say Monica Petersen went to Haiti to exploit poor black female prostitutes. It's an absurd conclusion. She clearly stated she had an interest in setting up a NGO to deal with suspected human traffickers while she was a teacher there. That's blatantly obvious and you don't get it.
