why the fasincation with boxes and walk-in coolers that big? they certainly all resemble holding cells/cages, shipping crates, refrigerated trains/trucks etc.

question: why would a succesful NYC artist - suddenly move to the middle of nowhere bumfuck texas and start creating large concrete structures?

my theory: Judd was in the know being in the art scene - he was contracted by our government (CIA) to build large underground installations - which double as cells for Humans, very possible illegals crossing the border are being housed there before being hunted, used for further purposes - etc

very possible much of this in on his private ranch, Ayala de Chinati Ranch

Judd is someone people admire because they like large square rooms. I don't claim to understand how a concrete square could be considered "art"... but that's just me -

of note: concrete is great for soundproofing, nothing would be heard through walls that thick, esp underground

something just seems strange about this whole thing
