This means that the videos that are being removed from Youtube are done not to protect him specifically. Someone higher in the chain is using the suppression to protect themselves. They are letting him burn.
The entire exchange has some rather unexpected discrepancies. He may have been the 49th most powerful person in DC a few years ago....but this exchange indicates that may no longer be the case.

I disagree. The payoff on a deal will be proportionate to the value of the information. If him flipping helps the feds get an entire network of high level traffickers Alefantis and family will disappear into witness protection and will probably live the rest of his life on a beach with a protection team.
