i mean this one. if this has already been discussed, then i will gladly delete this submission.
i was browsing through Alefantis' Instagram images and believe i've stumbled upon the source of that particular picture - it's the work of "LA-Based art collective My Barbarian (Malik Gaines,Jade Gordon, and Alexandro Segade)" from "Broke People’s Baroque Peoples’ Theater series of exhibitions, Flat Busted Wig Beauty Window Fatale, an installation designed for Transformer."
recall that Transformer = Washington, DC arts organization of which Alefantis is board president.
here's a related pic from a gallery of images for the installation.

Ok, so, we already knew that Alefantis likes weird art. What does this prove? He has an instagram pic of art from an organization that he is associated with. So what?

Well I think before this was sort of interpreted as some sort of ritual and may actually be a legitimate art piece

Marina has been quoted as saying something along the lines of, when we do it as art it's art, when we do it for real it's real... sorry not exact quote, but she expressed that message.

That was about the spirit cooking. However, I'm sure it can apply to any sort of ritual but this post was about how this specific insta pic may be at an art gallery. Meaning that her quote applies here but because it's legitimate art cause it's at a gallery.

Yes I agree, just saying I think it kinda turns them on that some of these rituals are used as art. Ithis very well could be a real ritual, but sold as art.

Ooooo yeah. I definitely agree

yes - if this community means to conduct a thorough investigation as rigorously as possible (despite the constraints upon us), then nailing down points of fact is important just for the sake of comprehensiveness, even beyond a particular point's ultimate relevance. just for housekeeping purposes, it allows us to maintain focus while sweeping away inaccurate inferences.
i actually wanted to take another look at this particular picture b/c i thought it might relate to the Pegasus "museum" piece. having its source pinned down means the community can marshal our energies elsewhere, or start from specific facts (such as the artists' names) if further investigation is desired.

Couldn't agree more. If this is an actual art piece, then once that's confirmed, for anyone to spread it further would be disinformation. Good find. Cause if you're wrong, I'm sure multiple people would be quick to give a good explanation of why (may have happened lol I didn't look thru comments since I originally posted)
