I doubt anyone gets rid of bodies by feeding them to cows.. But cow foodstuffs have been contaminated in the past.

I wouldn't discount that they have a weaponized CJD which is fast acting. Don't underestimate the MI capabilities of making that happen. They pour several hundred million every year into bio weapons.
