Interesting channel. Not that it matters particularly, but it would be good to know the authors credentials. Either way though, I think an understanding of body language is an invaluable tool for getting to the truth. People focus on the words politicians say, but if you're aware of them, actions say much more.
I've noticed that, and the TONE of voice changes slightly, with a pause first, as though they have to convince themselves that this is what they really want to say. Other people are just compulsive liars and lie so much that they don't know the difference between truth and lies, they are near impossible to figure out.
That's why so many lawyers do well in Washington. They know when to lie and they do it well. They lie to themselves constantly btw, otherwise they would be leading happy, productive lives.
