Nearly half of the nation’s Republicans believe John Podesta’s leaked emails contain coded messages referring to “pedophilia, human trafficking and satanic ritual abuse,” according to a new poll from The Economist and YouGov. But more shocking is the number of Dems who have signed on to the asinine conspiracy: Twenty four percent say Pizzagate is “definitely” or “probably” true.
I'm a progressive Dem, and I am floored that the Dem numbers are that high. I thought we were dealing with maybe 2-4% of Dems believing it to be probably or definitely true. These numbers are great news.
95% of my friends who I've talked to in real life about pizzagate either believe me or at least say they don't know, but I might be right. I'm a progressive democrat and almost all of my friends are too. Granted most of my friends are already somewhat skeptical of the media.
The sad part is most people aren't interested enough to do anything about it, but that's a different story.
