There is an interview he did with Oprah back in the early 90's I think it was. She asked him if he would ever run for president. He said that he didn't want to, but if it ever got to a point where things got so bad and there was no one else who would step up to fix it, that he'd run.

If he filed that way back then, then he's been planning this for a long time. I'm starting to really think he will do great good.
