This is likely a stretch, but as I've learned - ideas can spark new ideas and evolve.. so what the hell.
Between all of the code language and perceived messaging through art / symbols - would it be a stretch that "passwords" or "keys" to locked files or systems could be shared in the wide open without anyone knowing it - outside of the select few that are in the circle?
We're the comet pizza zip files ever downloaded? This is my first connection with this theory..
Not sure if we'd be able to test this theory but this concept could create a new lense to review old evidence with.

A hashtag used throughout his Instagram. At first it was believed to the name of an infant in his photo - But has been used with different infants / posts and I believe in some comments as well. We believe this could be a link to something or some code language

I've convinced myself that he's saying cari s. James.

solid idea here maybe not "carisjames" specifically but super odd phrases used could be this.
I think the hashtags as passwords angle is interesting maybe there's some steganography going on here as well. Any chance you could throw up a backup of the actual image from his instagram as well? Trying to find one and can only find sli.mg links of screen caps >.>

I think those are the backups. Hm. Perhaps search archive sites? I might look
