Does this program run in the background all the time? One way to check it by closing the window for the program and taskbar applications with it if there are any you know of, then check in task manager and see if CaptureLibService.exe or any other related Freemake exe are running.
Ah. I get it. So if captrelibservice.exe has no effect on the Freemake video software then it isn't necessary for it to run, therefore, why is it there in the first place? OK. You can do what I mentioned to know if it is being used for anything nefarious. See if the capture service is running on boot, or after loading a Freemake related software. Is it only loaded when a Freemake related software is running or is it active even when you have closed it or even before you have opened a Freemake tool? Use Wireshark too, find out what sort of packets your computer is sending out, is it different if you unplug your webcam? That's a definitive way to find out.
eYou will need to know which port numbers the capturelibservice.exe process is using. To find these port numbers you will need other tools than just wireshark, but all these other tools are available in windows and run in the command prompt so all you will need to install is Wireshark.
I will guide you through the steps. The first thing I recommend is to get an computer that you don't mind if it gets infected with malware. Make sure there is no sensitive information left on it though.

Wireshark could actually provide irrefutable hard evidence, of which we clearly need more of. Anybody good with Wireshark?
