I recently found a reddit thread that highlights the problem of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) working 'in partnership' with government when it is classified as a non profit corporation. See recent law suit over the handling of child pornography: http://archive.is/TROdU.

I voat that they are hindering the process. I saw a talk with Ted Gunderson where he said that he could find thousands of children annually if he had the budget they have, yet they locate very few.
