Hot dog stands aretotally alien to hawaii culture. mostpeople are asian so the street food is so called lunch wagons that sell plates of food. It is a less sinister joke or hes never been to hawaii. More liekly another open coded pedo ref

The existence of those places doesn't contradict what I said. In fact Europeans have told me hot dog vendors are associated only with new York city in films. People in Hawaii grill sausages especially portuguese ones like all americans do but only go eat hot dogs at costco. Go fuckin visit.

Exactly. I've lived in Hawaii over 20 years. I've NEVER bought hot dogs from a hot dog stand. They're not some specialty or a big thing there.

Yeah it's a big difference. They exist in Hawaii but they're pretty rare. There's one or two good ones and prob a few new hipster ones in Honolulu but it's like $8 hotdogs. It's not the same thing. Costco is definitely the go to spot.

Theres very few hot dogs, good Mexican, or wings joints here. It's odd.

As per this topic, whatever. I'm pretty curious to see if the Hawaii stuff goes anywhere. Those wifi signals were fucking weird.
