The Queen and Missing Kids
The day she got to the school, I was part of a group of kids that went on a picnic with the Queen and her husband and school officials, down to a meadow near Dead Man’s Creek. After awhile, I saw the Queen leave that picnic with ten children from the school, and those children never returned. We never heard anything more about them and never saw them again even when we were older. They were all from around there but they all vanished.
“A 2001 report by the Truth Commission into Genocide in Canada documents the responsibility of the Roman Catholic Church, the United Church of Canada, the Anglican Church of Canada, and the federal government in the deaths of more than 50,000 Native children in the Canadian residential school system.

-The monarch is capping off a landmark year that saw her turn 90 by passing on some of her patronages to other members of the royal family. Of the more than 600 causes and organizations that she’s associated with, the Queen is retiring from 25.
-The wider Royal Family support a grand total of 2,415 charities in Britain, with this figure rising to almost 3,000 worldwide. Elizabeth II favours charities that tackle community and civic issues.
ALL those "charities" are suspect...
British royalty dined on human flesh (but don't worry it was 300 years ago)

Growing up in canada we are never taught about any of this. Yeah we are taught that residential schools are bad because we are segregating natives, but nothing more.

I grew up in Kamloops (born and raised there) specifically. Never heard anything about this shit when I was growing up. So fucked up.

I grew up in newfoundland, so we have a much different history than the rest of Canada. Mainly because we were a soveriegn country until 1949. But still, we should be taught that.

I love to see non-americans investigate this. We are ultimately what will bring them down.
