First and Foremost : I am not anti-Chinese. I despise most of the politics of that country, and the business and drug war going on between China and the US. But, the people there have to deal with enough crap that makes our daily bat-shit look another day on the block there.

So, when there is a large population of people who survive by eating people, what do you do? You create laws and try to stop them (unless you are China, in which case you make them part of the communist party (see link in next paragraph)). But, like all good crimes, there becomes a markets and traditions.
