Do you think they'd be willing to do this in order to contain Pizzagate when it inevitably becomes public?

I mean, if they can DDoS the whole American East Coast to prevent Assange's killswitch from going live, why not the whole world?

If you're worried, follow golly's advice in this thread. Set up your own private mesh network. A OpenWRT-capable router is all you need.

In addition, save as much information as you can locally. Allocate 20GB of hard drive space to things you think you'll need if the internet shuts down. Research, infographics, etc.
