I believe I saw fairly convincing evidence that some of the construction was at the address for Pegasus.

It seems that permits are not a consideration for this person.

Yes this is just evidence that he might not get building permits or if he did they were erased from the database.

People should at least report him for illegal construction;

http://dcra.dc.gov/service/report-illegal-construction - (click link twice to work)

Or find out if he was fined for the illegal construction and what he was fined for.

What Work Requires a Permit?

The following are types of work that require building permits:

New construction
Additions
Demolition
Construction of retaining walls, decks, fences, sheds, garages, and vaults
Erection of signs and awnings

I bet we get stonewalled if we report it. I'm not saying it's not worth a shot, but I bet that's what happens.

But if we make enough of a stink about it, we could really spread our message. Can we get some good "illegal construction" memes made? Something captioned "I'm the 49th most powerful man in Washington D.C.---Can easily get building permit-- I don't-- Build anyway".

That's part of the reason I think it's worth a shot. Also, it might be helpful to see who/ what agency is blocking the info from coming out.
