I was professionally diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, although by now I have achieved a great deal of integration (current diagnosis is simply PTSD). It is not like in the sensationalized movies portraying it, and what you describe about Hillary are also not symptoms of the disorder. Not to say that it's impossible that she has it, but just that nothing you describe is a symptom of DID specifically.

If you want to understand DID, first understand that humans have physiological survival mechanisms known as the fight/flight/freeze response. Most people know that fight is anger, and that flight is fear. Freeze, however, is dissociation. People with dissociative disorders have strong dissociative responses in which they will temporarily lose conscious awareness of various things, such as memories, perceptions, emotions and so on.

Because such things largely impact a human's "personality", if a person's conscious awareness of such things is being dissociated, different things at different times, this can give the impression of different "personalities" though that is not what is literally happening, as explained.

A person with a severe dissociative disorder will consistently respond to specific stimuli (triggers) by switching into an altered state of consciousness (hence the term "alters") where details have been dissociated from their awareness, thus impacting their perceptions and emotions (and how they are interacting in general).

In my personal opinion, it is more likely that Hillary is a run of the mill psychopath.
