There's a whole bunch of this traffic in NYC on west 56th street just west of Broadway. A bunch of strip clubs offer limos to nowhere that just drive around the block. This may have lightened up since the completion of the new Random House skyscraper near there. These homeless men in smocks hand out porno cards all over advertising these joins that are recessed from the corners (less visible to tourists or upstairs, even less visible). Police not shutting down the limos shows they are paid off. It is illegal to have open booze bottles in cars NY.

Illegal to have booze in a limo? Where the driver is hired to squire you around?

Just looked this up. If a limo is licensed as a limo and designed to hold more than 10 people, passengers can drink.

The provisions of this section shall not be deemed to prohibit the drinking of alcoholic beverages or the possession of an open container containing an alcoholic beverage by passengers in passenger vehicles........ 2. For the purposes of this section, a passenger vehicle shall mean a vehicle designed to carry ten or more passengers and used to carry passengers for profit or hire.

I am corrected .... anyway ... those limos to nowhere used to drive around the block as roving brothels. Also very near hi-class brothel, The Carnegie Mews.

that FlashDancers club across from the hardware store .... ivory limos spent a lot of time parked in front of The Gp on west 57 street ... then they's just go around the block (daytime).
