Acting on it includes child porn. Pedophilia is a mental disorder you cannot control. You cannot control who you're attracted to. What if your child gets kidnapped, raped, then turns out to be a pedophile? Are they a monster? NO. It is out of their control. What's in their control is how they deal with it. They must know that abusing a child or watching child porn is absolutely not okay. If they stay away from that urge then there's nothing wrong with them. Child molesters and CP watchers are the enemy, not pedophiles.
Tis is a fair point. Shout out to all the pedohiles out there who were molested when they were young and have stopped the cycle by not acting on their desires themselves. Although if they still look at CP they can fuck off.
