So I was reading thru the Federal Government's "Affidavit in Support of Criminal Complaint" against Edgar Welch. As you'll recall, he is the person identified as the person who walked into Comet Pizza with an AR-15. The complaint is good reading. Find it here:

What got my attention is the first paragraph, under "Introduction and Agent Background" (3rd page of PDF file).
This is where the FBI's Special Agent, Justin Holgate, provides background on his qualifications.
This line really got my attention: "Prior to being appointed to the FBI, I served as a police officer in Little Rock, AR for three years." What are the chances ?
One other item I am unsure of: Are special agents "appointed" to the FBI ? i thought only the Director was appointed by the President.

Welch has been labeled a "right wing nutjob". What kind of a "right wing nutjob" would be caught dead driving a Toyota Prius? Hell, everyone knows we drive pickups with "Easy Rider" rifle racks. I smell something fishy.

I'm a right wing nut job that drives a Prius. Despite the stereotype, more conservatives drive these types of cars than you think. I have to drive about 100 miles a day, and save big money on gas. Yes, I'd rather drive a pickup, that much is true.

Lol yeah great point. Prius absolutely doesn't jive with the background story. But seeing as how he is really an actor who's father works in child trafficking prevention, it makes sense that it is just staged.
