Could this be the same Indian businessman Ashok Mahibubani-Ladharam? I found a court of appeals document from the 11th circuit with the US vs Ashok Mahibubani-Ladharam which entails 22 counts of money laundering and conspiring to import and importing cocaine. However, he was sentenced to 120 months the way I'm reading this. The court document is from 2005 so he'd be currently in prison if this is the same person unless of course it is the same guy and he was able to have his sentence commuted by having the right connections to the CF....just sayin' and FBI Anon said to focus on the CF because the C's deal in weapons, drugs and people. http://law.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/ca11/10-11782/201011782-2011-03-27.html

I think it is the same person. From earlier research it looks like Mahbubani's company, M-Tronics, is a shell company. Generally, what they do with shell companies is make it appear they are shipping legitimate cargo. In fact they may be shipping drugs, children, and weapons. They use these companies for illegal weapons transfers outside congressional oversight. The weapons could go to the middle east (Syria, Iran, Yemen) and they can bring back drugs and children. The weapons probably come from Redstone Arsenal, which is why it's convenient to traffick other things thru there as well.
