As you probably read already, a load of files in wikileaks had their date mysteriously changed to "01-Jan-1984 01:01"
If you google "nineteen eighty-four 0101" these are the two first pages:
http://www.yesnovel.com/nineteen-eighty-four-george-orwell?page=0,101
http://www.novelok.com/nineteen-eighty-four?page=0,101
In page 102 of the first link you will find:
"The door opened. The cold-faced young officer stepped into the cell. With a brief movement of the hand he indicated Ampleforth.
'Room 101,' he said."
The main character is imprisoned in that section of the book, the room is 101, the dates are clearly not a coincidence.
Julian Assange has been taken, do not believe anything they say until you see him, do not trust Wikileaks, do not leak to Wikileaks, download the files from the torrents if you have to and minimize your exposure to the website.

Can you show that the dates were changed, and when they were changed?
This could be a clue, or it could be a tongue-in-cheek joke put there by a programmer, who used that as the default timestamp if a real timestamp wasn't available for a particular file. That's just a guess though.

The files have always been signed 01-Jan-1984 01:01 https://file.wikileaks.org/file/
The issue is two files suddenly broke the pattern and are not signed that way. "bnd-inquiry" and "cms" this threw up red flags to a lot of us.
Archive just in case: https://archive.is/preZn
Edit: I just noticed this has changed since I last checked. It's possible I missed "icwatch" but "berats-box.7z" is new
Throwing in 20 Jun 2015 01:29:13 UTC record for reference: http://archive.is/TdJ4t
cms/ 05-Feb-2015 14:06 was altered to cms/ 14-Sep-2016 15:54
Sorry I can't give an exact date of when it happened I remember everyone panicking when it was first noticed probably a month or so before the election. Someone else may have the archive. There was talk of files being scrubbed from the wayback machine and archive.is recently (never saw evidence though).

"Internet breaks" You made me remember something. Many times that I've looked either at something on YTube or some links, usually those with amazing info, my wifi knocks my computer offline. Sometimes it'll pop back on or I need to restart it. I restart in safe mode, run my checkers then restart regularly and it's back on. It didn't happen with the Megyn Kelly interview one, but it'll happen if I watch anything that remotely pertains to PG. Seemed odd, is that what you meant, does your wifi knock your computer offline?

yo this happened to me yesterday when on r/wikileaks reading things. I was pissed because I had work in another tab that got fucked.

I'm starting to keep track because quite a few of you have had this happen, and mentioned it. I flipped off my webcam when I got back on, felt ok

I thought i was crazy. Whenever i browse this sub for more than 5 minutes my computer just shuts off. No errors, nothing. Just shuts off.

it happens with mine a lot also. For a couple of weeks it was doing it multiple times a day and keeping all my gadgets offline for anywhere from 20 mins- an hour before the internet would come back. and that was after unplugging modem/router etc. It's not a coincidence- I have heard many people say this has been happening to them

yeah it's real fishy with my machine. I work in IT but i'm not a techie just a boss but still no n00b. What happens with mine seems to be in browser or cookie based cuz my machine say's it's connected to the web but any browser I use say's there's no internet. I have to hard start my machine, clear cookies and reset my connection/ip. Last night was bad cuz it usually comes back after one or two flushes but sometimes i have to restart the wifi [using the old switch it off and back on again technique]. What i've noticed is that it's localised to whatever machine i've been using and doesn't seem to affect any other device connected to the wifi... it's made me super sketch though cuz I really need my internet for work reasons and my opsec is generally shit... so if the NSA are watching go easy i'm no threat but if you keep fkin with me i'll start asking for proper help from the lads I hire and they're some bad mofo's,,, that's why i hire them :)

Sounds like what's going on with mine...it's not the connection or I'd hear a howl from the game room when it's happened, missions are serious business. So, I've determined it's fishy stuff with my machine because nobody else has the issue. When I asked, I was told I should probably quit reading trash news sites, touche. I've been actively avoiding the main suspects. I guess the only place I'm remotely careless is Twitter, but I don't make violent threats, just vent frustration and anger. I'd quit twitter over the summer, and I only logged back on after coming here to help get word spreading.
Thankfully you have some muscle for these things, it's essentially an attack on us, normal citizens. Curious citizens. Only code I know is HTML, but I'm still proud I remember much of that. And, I stopped with torrents ages ago after getting a snail mail from my cable company, naming exactly what I'd downloaded. And, that a complaint was attached to my IP. It was serving as a one time warning, I took the warning seriously, and subscribed to a streaming music deal instead. The monthly cost is worth the security. I indulge in normal folks pr0n, and only on my ipad. I'm a dog, but I'm a good dog :P
Anyway, my machine wasn't behaving oddly before, nor was my browser lagging, I use Firefox. I definitely wasn't being knocked off wifi, or running slow. Sometimes I'm not able to move my pointer. I run malwarebytes for malware, and norton's security suite. Only downloads are my own screenshots I realized saved automatically to a cloud drive. Prntscrn directs them to a screenshots folder. I've gotten warnings when I click links here sometimes. Norton tipped me off to possible dangerous links, clickware I think they referred to it. I learned after getting a virus twice, one was a trojan that was taken care of easily in DOS, another fried my computer. I clicked something, there was a countdown that didn't finish before, poof...gone. Only a nightmare blue screen of death remained. If only I'd unplugged it instead of staring at it like "Huh?" So, I hope that doesn't happen again.

I read a paper on some of the three letter agency tools that scared the sht out of me!!! I'd get in the habit of clearing your cookies as that's deffo a vector for attack. But i'm pretty lax [using chrome for god sake lol,,,] thankfully I can just drop this machine off with the boys at work and ask them to 'reset' it and pretend i've just picked up a bunch of shit from lookin at dodgy porn sites lol.
i am smart enough to cover the webcams though,,, that always gets a laugh in the office
