The petition that calls for a proper investigation into the pizzagate scandal, which someone recently posted a link to, will probably be shut down (though it will be unfair to us if they do). People should sign it anyway to show support and give hope for a resolution out of this insanity. However, I have looked in their Terms of Participation, and it says:
"In addition, by participating in We the People you agree not to post the following types of material:
...
Defamatory or fraudulent statements"
Although we know that our statements should not be thought of as fraudulent, they will probably be able to shut down the petition if it gains enough popularity by simply stating that reputable sources have disproved our statements, and therefore the action we are proposing will not be allowed. I hope the petition is a success, but I wouldn't bet on it.

What if there was a petition which stated We the People do not want our government using human trafficking to fund their covert operations?

or better yet, no covert operations at all.

I'd be cool with that. They'd probably give the plebes lip service and keep on trucking the status quo, though.
