Google link ultimately leads to FBI? (Tech Question) (pizzagate)

While doing Google research on Pizzagate this morning (search term: "orphanquot" - long story why I did that), many sites popped up having this term in the preview text, but when I clicked on one of them:

I was transferred to the FBI: https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/cyber

Why? What? Can anyone explain? Is this site monitored by the FBI, and anyone visiting it has its IP address registered or what? Thanks for any hints and explanations.

My assertion is that the original site was some sort of scam site and Google is assisting the FBI by redirecting it. - nvm, it's just a regular 302 redirect made by whoever owns the domain. Which is replied below. (Gary Truitt)

ok, there we have at least a connection to HC. Thing is, I am investigating a possible child-trafficking/-sex-connection, based on my assumption that "orphanquot" may be a code that is being implemented as a meta word into certain web sites. Still digging.

Seems to be a server level redirect to fbi.gov site. Google has nothing to do with it. The server this domain is pointed at is set up to redirect any request to robertvmatthews.com to the fbi site.

It seems to be a shared host btw but didn't check., there are some other (working) sites hosted on this server (see link above). Not that not all websites in this list must be owned by the same person. Just more likely that a customer has is sites on same IP.

Ok, many thanks, I do unterstand the redirect thing. But why would anyone do that? I believe it happened at least twice to me. Since it's not a huge matter right now, feel free to answer if and when you can.

best i can come up with is, he was cyber stalked and thought its a good way to scare the stalkers.
