The "Yellow Bellied Posdesta" although an endangered species is currently on the federal governments invasive species list. There are no limits on the bag limit for these vermin. The reason being is the parasitic nature of the Yellow Bellied Podesta known for eating its own young has been predicted to lead to the eventual extinction of the species as well as many other species if allowed to spread out of control. The Yellow Bellied Podesta although somewhat skittish at first can be drawn in with photos of small children or other similar methods of baiting. Once captured the yellow bellied podesta typically makes crying and wimpering sounds similar to the red-peckered Alefantis in an effort to fool its captor. Drowning or incineration are both efficient and recommended methods of control.
