I have close contacts in the FBI.
One time I was acting like a liberal, defending the WTC mosque or something stupid like that. They told me that Saudi leaders, and leaders of other Islamic countries, have young boy sex slaves. I remember saying something like, but but but homosexuality is prohibited in Islam.
On another occasion, I was acting like an edgelord. In the spirit of Spinal Tap and Ozzy Osborne, I referenced satanism. They became horrified. I explained they should relax since satanism isn't a real thing, that it's just edgy atheists trying to offend Christians. They told me that satanists have rituals like animal sacrifices. I said that that might have been a long time ago or a few isolated cases, but that it wasn't some regular phenomenon or a real religion.
Looking back, I feel naive, as if they knew about Saudi child sex slaves and actual ongoing satanic rituals abusing children, but that they were not at liberty to say anything further.
Now I think that child sex is common in Islamic countries, and that satanists are an active cult that remains secretive.
I run v/theology. I have learned so much about so many religions. I have seen how religious fervor can cause people to believe or do anything. What I once dismissed as superstition or urban legend or exaggeration or scare mongering, I now see as common phenomena performed by those whose minds have been warped by religion.

The pedo prophet thing originated with one of the stories of the Hadith which was about the age of Aisha at the time of her marriage. This story was refuted by a careful reading of Mohammad's first biography.
