Apologies if a thread covered this before, but I was just wondering if anyone has a clear idea of what sets the bots off. One user mentioned the Saudis. Another mentioned celebrities like Seaman or Milo that believe Pizzagate.
I was just thinking we could use it to backtrack to what they're most concerned about us finding out and where they don't want us to look.
For those that haven't seen the bots for themselves, you'll see that "altpizza" has roughly the same comment twice and then "epluribusgoat" uses the same comment as altpizza - all with no links or anything and also homophobic slurs. Both are towards the bottom of the page because our human users were smart enough to figure it out and downvote.
Look for the "PEDO-GATE" comment.

If we can be very specific with each post and see what attracts them. Identify them but don't ban then, start tagging them and keep them busy af, but how do we deal with the human shills. And I would imagine there are humans behind an army of bots to keep the bots corrected.
How about rewarding productive posters and productive supporters with credits and identified bots and shills can be restricted as apposed to banned, that way they don't just create new accounts. Like the way twitter and facebook shadow ban us.
It is a risky compromise to free speech but it isn't much different than maintaining national security. This is a real and very serious investigation and steps need to be taken to protect it.
