He may tell the truth and he may not. If he does, fantastic. If he doesn't, fantastic. We'll then know where he stands and what side he's on in this and won't rely on him to champion the cause or be a spokesperson. The fact, that he was told "not yet", is a rather good sign I should think.
Not only that, but Milo has a big audience of his own. Even if he gets up there and claims pizzagate is false, it adds to the flurry of conflicting information out there, and the publicity in general. I think most people, when they hear two opposing sides screaming at each other and can't quite figure out which side is telling the truth, are more likely to keep an open mind and watch what plays out. The pushback is obvious to anyone paying even a slight bit of attention.
