hey guys,
I may be ignorant in thinking this but by making all of your investigations, leads and info public by posting it here, don't you think you are giving them a chance to cover their tracks? I'm sure they'd have people keeping track of all this stuff so whenever you post a new lead they would do what they can to make sure it leads to nothing.

Don't worry. There are some juicy tidbits being saved.

archive and back up everything before you share publicly.
save everything, even a seemingly irrelevant post, if later deleted, becomes relevant

you're missing the point, anything you find on the internet is not going to be a smoking gun. by sharing what you have found on the internet with everyone else, you are also sharing it with the people you are investigating and it gives them a chance to get rid of said smoking gun. for example say they are moving these kids around in ship cargo, now that we have expressed that as a lead they would stop doing it obviously, say we didn't share that info and instead went down there and found the kids ourselves, that would be a smoking gun. a drastic example yes but hopefully you get my point

We archive what we can. Our biggest hope is a professional investigation into records that we otherwise would never be able to lay eyes on, any information gathered helps build towards that end. In the mean time tptb are apparently being reactionary in their efforts and people are starting to notice.

if we had a professional investigation i can guarantee that all of the records and evidence is long gone thanks to the publicity of this.

all people are doing it making it public knowledge nobody can make ya believe it!

I've had the exact same thoughts. Every time a new lead is posted...I figure "they" are out there erasing/changing evidence to cover their tracks.

i just think we need a different structure, similar to wikileaks perhaps. a submission system for leads that is checked over by select investigators. then when the lead is of no more use they can disclose it. just an idea
Millennial_Falcon ago
The problem with that is there is no way to be sure the "select investigators" are trustworthy. Anyway, the point of our investigation isn't to catch individual perpetrators. It's to expose the network as a whole. Also, the more leads we uncover, the more likely a smoking gun will eventually be found in some for or another.

yeah ive been thinking about how to select trustworthy people, thats a hard one. to be honest i think we'd have found a few smoking guns already if this wasn't a public investigation.
edit: another thing to consider is whether the FBI is investigating or not and if so are we jeopardizing the investigation by posting all possible leads that they may already be onto
double edit: people also seem to post their leads way too quickly, see how deep you can dive before sharing it publicly.

It's either here or nowhere. Shillbot we can't move this into the public anywhere else. And, we are aware of the issue.
