Like tonight, I just got three freaking votes and then the stupid pop up saying I hit my 24 hour limit. Voting here has gotten to be completely pointless, because I cannot vote how I want to vote, and to me this site is censoring my voting value and worth. I have since been going back to reddit more, because at least I am not constricted on how I want to vote there. I am only going to come here to read now and maybe make a few comments. I am not going to even bother voting anymore, more so to give a big finger to the stupid restrictions. People wh post want up votes, well tough. Have Voat fix the crazy low restrictions first, and then I may start voting again.
You've just got to be patient. 100 upvoats really isn't that much. It was made to keep people from making large numbers of accounts and using them all to downvoat threads.
Nope... it's a dumb process. To me limiting my votes to freaking 10 from the get go is completely asinine and censorship in itself. You can't do dick with 10 votes a day, so why bother. Your votes are meaningless when you can't vote as you wish to vote.
Because to circumvent the downvoat restrictions those same people would create threads much like this one to upvoat themselves into being able to downvoat. You can ignore the reasoning behind it all you want, but it's a good system and keeps spam accounts from mass-downvoating. Also, just gonna repeat myself since it's the most important point, a hundred points is easy as fuck to get.
You know what? I changed my mind. I am going to fuck the system and upvote the shitiest, most negative posts I can possibly find. Then when I get to 100, I am going to keep doing that, and upvoting the shitiest posts and downvoting the better ones. Because fuck this shit! When you take away peoples ability to vote how they want to, this is what you are going to get!
It's my own protest. Shitty posts will get upvotes now, and when, if ever, I get more votes, I plan to continue giving tons of shitty negative posts upvotes and popular posts downvotes, in protest of a completely shitty system that censored me from the get go. Who knows... maybe I am not the only one doing this in protest.
