Oh, no, I know. I won't be arguing with you on that. Perhaps I should've said political philosophy instead of party. I've only been paying attention to the party for a few months, and I can tell it's full of a bunch of idiots and shitheads. I like the Chairman, but everything below that seems to be a complete mess.

But, I want to get involved because voters deserve better than what they're getting from democrats or republicans. I believe in (moderate) libertarian philosophy. The party currently may be full of useless jerks, but the only way to change that is to have normal and motivated people join and shape the party going forward. The Republican an Democratic Parties are too big to actually make a difference in, but the Libertarian Party is small enough that a few reasonable people could actually do a lot to make it more successful and less crazy. That's my reasoning at least. I hope it works.
