Your title is really misleading, man. It should say "AP lays off 25 staffers -- let's dig further and find out if they're silencing people who want to expose child trafficking". THEN it would be legit. You shouldn't set it up to look like you have evidence of something when it's still totally in the realm of speculation. This kind of makes us look dumb IMO.
People are more likely to keep quiet when they are on the payroll, not after they are fired.
Suppose one or more of our intelligence agencies is compromised to some degree. If authorities wanted to stop investigations into human trafficking rings or child pornography, they wouldn't fire agents---they would assign compromised agents to do that work, make a few inconsequential arrests, and ignore the rest.
Is there a way to find out when their last layoffs were? If this was their first time ever laying off journalists for example, that would be pretty suspect IMHO.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6d8MsFakJjc listen to this guy. a well respected author, blackbanned! for trying to help children. He has helped, by telling the truth, so clearly. heroes like this, inspire me no end!
This is unbelievably stupid. The Associated press is not "the news agency that's writing about Norway's trafficking scandal. It's the Associated Press. If you don't know what they are, that's your ignorance. Otherwise you could describe them as "the news agency that's writing about the San Antonio Spurs losing their first road game."
or
"the news agency that's [writing about Giant Pandas](Giant panda is no longer endangered, experts say - Associated Press)."
IF that is the reason, (or one of the reasons for some of those journalists getting fired), than I'd hope it would create a whole lot more David Seaman's. We need more like him, more like Kevin Shipp, more like Edward Snowden, more like Chelsea Manning ect. to really break through to the truth.
They took them down because the licensing agreement doesn't let stuff stay up forever. Easy way to prove this wrong is find an AP story on NYT WaPo or ABC that is older than the Norwegian story.
I studied journalism and used to work in news, and they are able to use these stories as long as they want. They all pay for access/publishing rights to AP and other news wire stories; there is no licensing agreement that would require them to take something down after a month.
I'd like to see the list of names of the fired journalists and see the types of stories they've written in the past. Maybe covering the Norway ring, or maybe just generally more critical of Democrats than most journalists would be. Or maybe no patterns.
AP is controlled by mockingbird and the Norwegian government doesn't want the world to know just how fucked they really are. Massive censorship going on over there and in Sweden.
All these scandinavian countries are suspect if you want my opinion. There you have switzerland, land of the hidden bank accounts. But remember, do not look at Switzerland, it couldnt be them, they are neutral right? Do not look at them it cannot be them. No serious. Do not look. Look at the bird in my left hand. Look at the flower in my right hand. NEVER look at Switzerland, the fact that it was founded some years after the dismentlement of the Knights Templar has nothing to do with this. Switzerland had nothing to do with Hitler. Look it's the Voice on TV come watch this instead.
Is there a way to find out when their last layoffs were? If this was their first time ever laying off journalists for example, that would be pretty suspect IMHO.
It certainly doesn't hurt to take a good look at things like this, but I just think it's generally best to hold off on the wild speculation if we're A) taking Pizzagate seriously, and B) trying to get others to take Pizzagate seriously.
The title of the post here definitely qualifies as "wild speculation," IMO.
I agree, the title is misleading because it sensationally sets up that there will actually be evidence, and then the actual content is no more than pure speculation.
other thing to consider is how big this is - it spans institutions, governments and nation states and therefore no one -- no one -- will be permitted to go too far, at least not in the MSM

It's a good thought but STFU until you have proof. You're not helping with this.

Just like we kept on hearing on election night by the leftist MSM......."This is too early to call". (even at 98% done)

Can we get a hold of the names of the journalists and conact them personally?
Dont scare them away with tinfoil vibes, though! Perhaps dont even mention PG.
AdVict0riam ago
Absolutely. But rampant speculation and rumor-mongering hurts our cause, IMO.

It's still up on AP's own website: http://bigstory.ap.org/article/3f53996696a24d0da8c1d8fb117beca0/norwegian-police-arrest-20-men-pedophile-network-probe
AP didn't pull the source. NYT, WaPo, and ABC News control their own websites. They took them down. Don't distract us, thanks.

pizzathrowaway ago
So can you find any older AP wire stories on their sites? You might be right but it would be easy to prove
JeremiahSinclair ago
There are shitloads of them, just search "associated press" on the NYT website. Here's just one example, a story from October of this year:
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/30/us/politics/missouri-voters-to-weigh-ban-on-expanding-sales-tax-to-services.html
As long as they are paying AP whatever their fee is, they can print whatever AP articles they please and keep them up as long as they want.
chrimony ago
Do you have a citation for this?
Ok.
chrimony ago
I did some more digging and the licensing angle seems legit. Here are some other articles that have expired from the New York Times:
http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2016/10/11/world/americas/ap-lt-brazil-zika-babies.html http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2016/10/22/us/politics/ap-us-campaign-2016-why-it-matters-veterans.html
And they say: "Page No Longer Available This news-agency article is no longer available on nytimes.com."
Same as what you get for the Norway article.

News media keeps having to fire people because, um, THEY SUCK.

when you're publishing fake news, you don't need reporters. Pretty shitty to lay people off two weeks before Christmas though.

That's how you keep everyone else in line.
AdVict0riam ago
How do we know the two things are related? I see no hard evidence of a link here.

Have you tried digging into it? For now it's merely a lead. He didn't state it as a fact.

You're right, there's no hard evidence but the timing just seems to explain why the articles were getting deleted.
It's from the "global news department", too.
I'm assuming they fired the journalists who know too much, with the excuse of "cost cutting".
