It's hard to know the exact meaning of the visual code. Does anyone have a historical source? It may be that there is some limited number of specific signs that came to be signaled and spread over time. It may also be that there is a rule, such as recursion. I was discussing with my wife how such a signal might be used. It might be a "first step" to attract like-minded pedophiles. Those pedophiles might be on guard for false signals and have a couple of ordinary questions they expect to hear coded answers about. Conversation might even begin with topics about Emperor Hadrian, for instance.

So, the visual logo may only need to be relatively close or fit a general rule.
