We're all fairly confident that the Comet Ping Pong (CPP) shooting was a false flag event. But why do the false flag event? Why draw attention to the controversy, instead of hoping that it will go away quietly?
I think I understand why. The people who did the CPP false flag (CIA, Clintons, DC Police, whoever they are) were trying to sell a narrative. The narrative was this:
A shooter got inside of Comet Ping Pong, broke into some areas, and discovered there was no evidence for anything. Also, he's a conservative nut job and we need more gun control laws.
In other words, the people staging this false flag thought that, if a far right gun nut broke into the place and discovered nothing, then we would all be convinced that the conspiracy is false.
This is HILARIOUS because: skeptics already did not believe the conspiracy theory, and citizen investigators already know about a mountain of other evidence (like the Comet Ping Pong Instagram) that the false flag shooting event cannot erase. No citizen investigator thought that a gunman would actually discover an occult Satanic ritual in the office room of Comet Ping Pong. And the mountain of evidence doesn't go away just because of this false flag event.
What you are seeing here is incompetent on a massive scale. This is the same kind of incompetence where Hillary thought nobody would ever discover her homebrew server with no net security. This is the same kind of incompetence where Hillary thought she could sleep in, not campaign, ignore the Rust Belt, endorse NAFTA and TPP, and still win because of the fake polls. This is the kind of incompetence where the U.S. invades Cuba in the Bay of Pigs and utterly fails. Government incompetence.
I know that #pizzagate is bipartisan. So whether this was Democrat/Republican/Illuminati, we have to laugh at how stupid this false flag was.

I think it was partially to destroy the computer at CPP. It might be this too though.

It seems absurd that you'd think that they'd have to stage a shooting to get rid of a computer.
There's no investigation or judge's order to preserve evidence so they don't need to concoct some kind of elaborate excuse to get rid of a computer. They are 100% free to just unplug it and destroy it, if they so choose.
Also, if there was any illegal activity on that computer, I'm sure it was already removed and cleaned up weeks ago.

Well the shooting serves multiple purposes. And it still looks more sketchy if they just destroy it. Court orders mean nothing to most people investigating this.

Whoever was there already could have destroyed the computer already as soon as the story broke, and probably has.

Maybe, but this gives them a more legitimate sounding reason.
