Note, it was the FBI who tipped off the Norwegian police. The FBI is not so bad. Unlike the CIA, the FBI seems to still have some patriots working for the good of their fellow people. Give credit where credit is due.

I can see from the point of view of the FBI, anyone who would be tempted by kiddie porn is a threat. So, bait them out and prosecute them. They deserve no sympathy. The FBI agents who have to coordinate these honey pots have to look into the eyes of the kid-porn. They have to sort the images and videos. I feel very sad for them, It must be very hard to do that job. Kill all pedophiles.
You say that as if it really happens. A few hundred were arrested which is a small percentage of those they know from this investigation to be "tempted" by this stuff. It seems like they go after some small potatoes and maybe mid-level managers but never get to the ones at the top. That is the problem. Royalty be damned.
