I like /u/SomeD's idea of using archive.is and then downloading the zip file they provide, but for simple web pages, even just using your browser's File -> Save As function is good enough.
I'm saving EVERY page I find be interesting, and I've made a .txt with a description to each link.
If I need to share something or post it, I just look at it. This is my backup process
