Interesting how until now this fake news has never been a problem. All of the sudden, every source of "media" is talking about the dangers of "Fake News." Hell, even the damn Onion had an article calling it fake, and they are literally fake news.
All they have to do is refer to it casually as "fake news" and people eat it up. It really is a disgusting power play by our mainstream media. When you want to censor a story, just say it's fake. It's all just an appeal to authority.
These institutions have gained the trust of the nation and the world over years and years of strong and important journalism, but now the current generation of management is wielding its power carelessly and with extreme prejudice. And people are eating it up.
The most effective censorship is the kind that the public doesn't even recognize.
For the first time the msm has competition, and for the first time it beat them. Internet is killing tv, they have to fight back. Therefore if it doesn't come from them its fake. Lol right, only the sheeple will be convinced.
