Good work. This seems plausible.

In the interest of accuracy, I just searched Molesta's emails again and found something that very well may be an innocuous explanation for his hand injury. Basically, my assessment was wrong on one point, in that it was not a disease of life. The famous Tamera Luzzato sent him an email about Dupuytren's contracture, which is a fairly rare disorder that causes thickening of the palmar fascia of the skin...it can just happen with no causative factor in certain people. I have never seen it IRL, so like I said..pretty rare.

Here is the email: https://wikileaks.com/podesta-emails/emailid/47943

Thanks, that e-mail coming from 2009 shows it's an issue he had problems with for a longer period.

I am not sure about the symbology, as it could be either innocuous, sinister or double entendre...what I can tell you is that if he is performing the spirit cooking ritual as prescribed, he could have very easily severed a flexor tendon or digital nerve (they aren't very deep), or gotten a nasty infection that required surgery. His hands are a result of some sort of traumatic event, not the result of a congenital deformity or disease of life. The question then becomes, how did the trauma occur?

BTW, the pic I saw that he sent to his physician clearly looked like some sort of infection...whether post-op or from laceration who knows. But in that picture, the PIP joint (middle) of that finger was clearly swollen and red, which are obvious signs of infection. Occam's razor: He cut his hand spirit cooking, or maybe actually cooking?, had tendon or nerve damage that required surgery, or infection due to laceration. The contracted (inability to fully extend) appearance of his fingers generally occurs due to scar tissue formation...which is a common occurence after surgery, especially tendon repair, or from repetive or severe laceration of the skin.
