The Washington Post has added an editorial note to its original corny article on fake-news to clarify that in fact they didn't mean to say that they were sure the analysis from two notoriously unknown research companies they cited was valid. Although they did spin the shit out of it, in fact they didn't really mean it that way, and it's a terrible misunderstanding, and it's not their fault.

They are covering their asses now because they got served with at LEAST one libel lawsuit. But here's the thing I wonder. What would they do if they got legitimate proof that #pizzagate is as bad or worse as people are saying? I'm not talking a .jpg with a lot of pictures and lines drawn showing how everything is connected, I'm talking a secret video confession from someone high up in politics. Would they report on it and "woops, our bad" or would they suppress it as long as they could?
