Quick question: is this something that David Seaman has authorized?
I never asked, but I'd assume he'd be okay with it given the situation. I don't plan on doing anything with them unless YouTube takes more of his videos down.
I like the idea. I hope he (and anyone else being threatened with blatant censorship) considers this option. I wonder if someone can reach out to him and get his blessing.. it could help to legitimize this method of decentralization.
