I've seen many claims being debunked here as we've gone along and a 'crowd sourced' effort to get things right and avoid false claims.

However, every "debunking" story from the MSM (NYT, Fortune, etc. etc.) or YouTube posts from places like The Young Turks makes no effort to address the legitimate questions we've raised.

Instead, they make conclusory statements dismissive of "Pizzagate" as a whole avoiding any real analysis. Not one story has mentioned the Instagram photos and comments and certainly didn't repeat what was posted on Comet Ping Pong's own web page for months. Not one discussed the bands playing at the 'family friendly' restaurant, the lyrics to their songs, websites (page 6 of Heavy Breathing's web page). Not one discussed Jimmy's friendship with Tony Podesta and Tony's strange art collection. Not one discussed the 'art' on the walls of Comet Ping Pong for years.

Along with dismissive statements, the 'debunking' efforts invent wild claims that I haven't seen on this board, though perhaps some other place discussing Pizzagate made them. The wilder the accusation the easier it is to debunk. They've also engaged 'guilt by association' by lumping Pizzagate into the alt-right movement or some racist conspiracy.

None of the 'real reports' bothered to mention the true scandals that have plagued D.C. in recent years, such as the Speaker of the House (3rd man in the chain of U.S. power) being sentenced for child sex abuse. They didn't mention Operation Flicker and ask where the thousands of D.C. governmental and Pentagon workers who had child sex porn on their computers are today.

TL;DR. The professional media class in the United States has devolved into political lapdogs who follow marching orders from the powers that be rather than do genuine investigative reporting.
