I found a video interview, inside Comet, from May 13, 2013, DC Art & Politics with James Alefantis.

I think it could hold some clues. At the end there is a list of organisations to look into. I learned he's the board president of http://www.transformerdc.org/ an art gallery in DC. But, what I also gleaned from the yahoo vid was the subject matter Alefantis spoke about. He mentioned an art video exhibit that was banned from the Smithsonian Institution in which he took on at his Transformer DC gallery. Here's the vid of the censored art video protest out front of Transformer with Alefantis. Dec 3, 2010

Its kinda disturbing, Jesus, ants & blood. James mentions that government has no right to be involved in art?

And yet if you show the average person a priest and an artsy queer urbanite like alefantis they'll probably say the former is more likely to be a fucking depraved molestor. Intuition is important
