I am trying to find a relation to a recent hacker I caught attempting to connect. The IP 093.184.215.200 came from Taylorsville Utah the WHOIS brings up Derrik Sawyer of Santa Monica CA and is a senior network engineer for Edgecast networks. Likely from a mobile device connected via Verizon wireless. This doesn't mean that is who the hacker is but given the info, and my firewalls, it seems likely.
We need to start paying attention to these hackers if this is getting enough attention for them to go to such great lengths to hack.
Find out who they are connected to and how/why...
Aww man you should look it up on a VPN and yea dude you should always use vms if you don't want them installing stuff on your computer. I use vms instead of having anti virus software that can slow down my comp ;) it's possible though
I don't run anti virus either, I tend to feel them too.. lol
But I do have then running into a box of confusion. None of them have ever gotten in yet.
I've never used a VM before, never set one up.
You know whats up, its like plugging all the holes ina boat so you dont sink.Try vm man its fun. That's how I test different OS's from Linux. I think you can load the apple OS to lol. Have fun though nice talking to ya.

What do you use to detect this?
ThorTheWonderful ago
Nothing, I felt it. So I looked at who was attempting to connect and thats what I found.

Lol gotta love how people think

lol.. They are trying again, this time they are going through a proxy server in Toronto Canada

Hmm think you could make a fake link for the guy so you can install some software on his end :) unless he's using vm etc
ThorTheWonderful ago
Well he is already linked to a dead end. If I was more network tech savvy I might be able to try something like that.
Edit: I should actually be using a VM myself.

Use virtualbox, I think the UI is better than most out there, plus all the extra fun stuff lol
